"Peelie, Charlie, Gilles, Annie... Nick Luscombe has become one of those radio titans."

Nick Luscombe, London based broadcaster, producer, DJ and Music Consultant, has been described as a "restless musical soul" constantly searching for that perfect record. A dedicated DJ and music maker since his teens, Nick Luscombe went on to become one of the UKs most influential radio DJs with his long running weekly Flomotion show on XFM.

Every Sunday evening for 6 years Nick pioneered a compelling blend of eclectic new music. Flomotion moved to the highly regarded Resonance 104.4FM earlier this year.

Over the years Nick has also been constantly in demand as a DJ regularly playing at large outdoor festivals from Helsinki to Tokyo as well as more club based events in locations such as London, Helsinki, Stockholm and Tokyo. Regular London residencies and appearances include sessions at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts), Big Chill House and The End, the latter as regular guest DJ at Ben Watt's seminal Buzzin' Fly nights.

As Director of Music at London's ICA, from 2005-2007, Nick Luscombe introduced a wide ranging programme of events including the C86 music weekend, Gogol Bordello's first sell out London show plus the popular indie-folk club night, Roots and Shoots, which he continues to host and promote. Nick also brought the sounds of the South London grime and dubstep scene to upmarket SW1 with the regular Dirty Canvas monthly sessions at the ICA.

Nick has masterminded two compilation albums of modern club music, has released two critically-acclaimed Flomotion volumes as well as a mix CD for Exceptional Records, and his Bambola Recordings imprint continues to showcase the best new Japanese producers. Nick has also authored articles for various British magazines, and continues to contribute record sleeve comments and notes.
